Once again, I've had the pleasure of participating in the ParaArt exhibition, the 12th international exchange exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Gallery, which takes place every autumn in Tokyo. The slogan of the exhibition was "Sharing the splendor of art".
ParaArt, which organizes the exhibition, aims to help artists with various disabilities from many parts of the world to make connections.
With the desire to break down barriers and borders, and promote encounters, empathy and cooperation through these magnificent works, the exhibition was organized with approximately 230 paintings, sculptures and calligraphy works from 21 countries and regions.
ParaArt's desire is that these diverse works will touch the viewer and inspire to passion.
Art - just like music - breaks down barriers, transcends borders and promotes encounters between many different people. Therefore, I am very happy that I was once again given the privilege of participating. This year with my painting 'Afternoon Nap' painted in oil.
