Mouth and Foot Painters Day is celebrated annually on September 5th to recognize the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) and its members, who paint using their mouths or feet due to their disability. The day was established to honor the founder of the MFPA, Erich Stegmann, and to raise awareness about the unique art form and the artists who create it.
