When a Vision Becomes Reality
Sometimes, in the middle of all the preparations, I pause for a moment and think back to where this journey really began.
More than thirty years ago, I traveled to Japan for the very first time. I had no idea how deeply this country would become part of my life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting thousands of people, singing in concerts, visiting churches, schools, and conferences, and building friendships that I still treasure today.
Now, as the 2026 Japan Tour draws closer, it feels as though God is opening a new door once again.
During the past few weeks, many pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place. Concerts are taking shape, collaborations have been confirmed, and the practical preparations continue one step at a time. Programs are being finalized, visas arranged, materials prepared, and travel plans completed.
Every concert represents many hours of work behind the scenes. But it is also work filled with joy, anticipation, and gratitude.
I am especially looking forward to the concerts with Shinichiro Yamamoto and Saée Tahara. Making music together across languages and cultures is a beautiful reminder that music has a unique ability to bring people together.
Yet this journey is about much more than concerts.
My prayer is that every meeting will become an opportunity to share hope, encouragement, joy, and God's love. Whether on a concert stage, in a classroom, in a church, or through a personal conversation, I hope people will leave feeling a little stronger than when they arrived.
Patrik and I are deeply grateful for everyone who prays for us, encourages us, and follows this journey. Your support truly means more than you know.
There is still much to prepare before we leave Sweden. Yet more and more, I realize that this journey is no longer simply something waiting ahead of us.
It has already begun.
And I look forward with great expectation to all that God has prepared for us in Japan this October.
